This picture was taken about a week before she died.
You can see the hurt in her eyes. She was brave to
the very end. I know that I really should have had her
put down, but I just couldn’t bear to part with her.
It took about a week after she died before I quit seeing
her out of the side of my eye either laying on her blanket
or on my bed. I know she is safe and out of pain now, but
I still miss her happy little presence.
