NCL Hawaii Calling

Now that Andy has completely healed from his wrist and arm injury, received on the cruise ship last Summer, it’s time again to go back on board the Norwegian Cruise Lines “Pride of America.” Andy will fly out of Seattle on February 2nd and board the ship straight away from the airport. He will be sailing around the four islands of Hawaii, starting off each Saturday from Oahu.

No telling what his duty will be this time, but he is hoping for an assignment at “East Meets West” on Deck 5 or “Lazy J Texas Steakhouse” on Deck 6, both of which are private restaurants, and either one keeps him out of the maniacal “Aloha Cafe” buffet kitchen on Deck 11. As this is his third contract with NCL, he has a good possibility for a super assignment.

Originally Andy had been reassigned to a new ship, the “Norwegian Jade,” cruising the Mediterranean, including Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece and Turkey. But before that dream job could come to pass, NCL called to say they had filled all the chef slots with a European team, but maybe next time. A little disappointed at first, now Andy is totally resigned to be back in Hawaii. How bad can either of the jobs be?

I smell a cruising trip for me this Spring!
Stand by for late-breaking newz!

  1. I have always thought a cruise looked like a lot of fun, and working for a cruise line sounds like a really fun job. Sorry the other one didn’t pan out, but this Hawaiian cruise sounds like a fun job all the same! Good luck Anders!
